Sara Jones is a graduate of The Whole You School of Massage and Bodywork; a 500 hour state accredited program that included Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology, Swedish, Sports, Medical/Trigger Point and Deep Tissue courses. She is nationally certified by the National Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork, and is licensed by the North Carolina board of Massage and Bodywork Therapy, license # 08104 . She is very interested in Bowen Therapy (a form of myofascial release created in Australia) and has been studying and practicing this modality for over a year with great success.
Sara believes in the body's ability to heal itself and that massage therapy is one of the many paths to restoring health and wholeness to the body. She is also a strong supporter of self care. Her goal is to provide massage for injury prevention, restoration, and pain management. Sara uses a variety of techniques in each massage, to reach whatever goal needs to be met.
Sara is very passionate about helping people who have cancer, and she has experience working with cancer patients. Sara started Unite! - Cancer Unity Group, for cancer patients, their family members and friends. This group is to provide education and empowerment for those in this situation.
Each and every massage with Sara will be adjusted to meet your current needs. She strives to continue giving her clients the best and most individualized treatment. 

 

Deep Tissue
Using deeper pressure your therapist will massage superficial and underlying muscles to alleviate pain and tension.
Pregnancy
We offer the most modern of pregnancy massage, with the use of Hydrotherm heated water pads to help reduce stress on the body during pregnancy.
Swedish
A system of long, gliding strokes, kneading, and friction techniques on the more superficial layers of muscle, with an emphasis on stimulating circulation throughout the body.
Sports
Deep massage and movement therapy help to smooth out wear and tear of amateur and professional athletes.
